A Simple Way to Share
FreeMarkit is a free community sharing platform where neighbours help each other by giving away useful items they no longer need. Instead of using money, members use a virtual reward called Marks. Every member is called a Changer because each small act helps build a kinder, stronger community.
What Are Marks?
Marks are the FreeMarkit community currency. You earn Marks when you give something away, and you spend Marks when you receive something from another Changer.
Join
Sign up as a Changer and receive some welcome Marks to help you get started.
Offer
List something you no longer need like books, toys, clothes, or kitchen items.
Browse & Request
Look through nearby Offers and send a Request for something you would like.
Award
The Changer who made the Offer chooses who will receive the item.
Exchange
Collect the item. The giver earns Marks and the receiver spends one Mark.
Repeat
Use your Marks to request more items, or keep giving to earn even more.
